The Finnish Colour Association

The Finnish Colour Association

Suomen väriyhdistys, the Finnish Colour Association, was founded on the 24th September 2002 at the University of Art of Design Helsinki (now Aalto University School of Arts, Architecture and Design).

The purpose of the association is to maintain collaboration and exchange of ideas between professionals in the field of colour, to further colour research and education and to promote good use of colour in Finland. The association organizes courses, symposia, conferences and excursions to colourful places and furthers its members’ collaboration with other colour organisations in Finland and abroad. Through its internet site and other social media the association disseminates information about current Finnish and foreign colour events and publications.
